FightMatch has been designed to be as easy to use as possible for fighters, trainers, and fight promoters. However we recognize that there is no way we can expect everyone to just hit the ground running without any assistance. Accordingly, we put together these quick lists for getting started..

YOU CANNOT SEARCH OUR DATABASE OR USE OUR CHAT FEATURES UNLESS YOU ARE AN APPROVED FIGHTER, SPARRING PARTNER, TRAINER, OR FIGHT PROMOTER. IF YOU FALSELY STATE THAT YOU ARE A FIGHTER, SPARRING PARTNER, TRAINER, OR FIGHT PROMOTER AND GET APPROVED WE WILL EVENTUALLY FIND OUT AND BAN YOU FROM OUR SYSTEM SO PLEASE DON'T VIOLATE OUR TERMS OF USE.

Fighters, Sparring Partners, Trainers, or Promoters all need to start with the following

• Register
  The first thing you need to do is complete our registration form here: Click Here. This is a preliminary registration and does require email authentication. At this point, you will already be able to search for other fighters and fight events but you won't be listed until you complete the next steps (which we require in a reasonable timeframe or we will ban your account).
• Profile
  All users have to complete their fighter profiles here: Click Here. If you aren't sure what to put for a field you are welcome to Contact Us.
• Account Review
  After your profile is complete your account will be under review as we need to make sure that you meet all of the requirements and that you have given us a way to validate that you are a fighter, trainer, or promoter.
• Acceptance
  After you are finally accepted you will start to show in the search results.
• Share
  The next thing you should do is to tell all the fighters you know about FightMatch.com and get more of them using it to increase its usefulness to everyone.
• Earn FightMatch Points
  FightMatch points determine your placement for the search results in your area. Getting more points can be as simple as Inviting a Fighter to join FightMatch.

Steps for fighters to find and sign up for fight events

• Use Search for Fights
  There is a menu item called Search for Fights. The first step is to use that and look for fights you are interested in signing up for.
• Action
  In the search results grid you will see an action column, click on "view fight" to view the fight details.
• Interact with the Promoter
  On the fight page you will find a section that asks if you are interested in participating in this fight and then you can choose to chat with the promoter, ask him to jump online to chat with you, or you can just sign up.
• Sign Up - In that same section if you choose to sign up then your next step is to wait for the fight promoter's decision to accept or reject you for this event.
• How Do I Know If I Am Accepted?
  You can either contact the fight promoter via the phone on the fight event page or jump to your fighter profile which has a tab showing the Signup Status of all fights you signed up for.

Steps for promoters to promote fight events

PLEASE NOTE: THAT IN ORDER TO INTERACT WITH FIGHTERS ON FIGHTMATCH AND TO REGISTER YOUR FIGHT EVENT WE NEED YOU TO COMPLETE A FULL PROFILE CLICK HERE AND DESIGNATE THAT YOU ARE A PROMOTER AS A USER TYPE. ONCE APPROVED YOU WILL HAVE ACCESS TO ALL THE FIGHTERS WE HAVE IN OUR DATABASE TO RECRUIT FOR YOUR FIGHT EVENT.

• Create a Fight Event
  You do this by going to your Fight Events page. Please fill this out with as much detail as possible to make sure fighters know what you are looking for.
• Search for Fighters
  The next thing you can do is quickly search for fighters in your area that may meet your needs. You can then invite them to chat or take a look at your fight event.
• Keep Up with Sign Ups
  You should frequently come back to FightMatch and check your Fight Events page where you can view the sign-ups for your event by selecting the appropriate event in your list of fight events.
